Transport Operations Manager
Currys site, Newark.
Full‑time & permanent. Works Sunday to Thursday, 07:00‑16:00, with some flexibility required.

What you'll do on a typical day:
* Lead direct reports and ensure all operational procedures and processes are adhered to, facilitating the effective flow of goods into, through and out of the site, with safe onward transport to their final destination.
* Manage change positively by proactively handling operational planning and changing customer requirements.
* Maintain a customer‑focused approach, responding to customer needs with consistent excellence in relationship management.
* Ensure the transport function is legally compliant, with correct compliance processes in place and monitored within O‑licence regulations.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Proven experience in a leadership role within the transportation or logistics industry.
* Strong customer‑facing experience in a fast‑paced environment.
* Deep knowledge of transportation operations, safety regulations, and legal compliance.
* Competence in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power BI) and transport management systems such as Microlise, Tachomaster, Paragon.
* Problem‑solving skills and the ability to manage challenges.
