Job Description
The Key responsibilities of an Accounts Assistant will include:
3. Managing and maintaining financial documents and records
4. Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial reports
5. Reconciling company accounts
6. Assisting with both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
7. Processing invoices and receipts
8. Maintaining the petty cash fund
9. Contributing to the development of financial procedures
10. Handling ad-hoc financial tasks as required
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
11. Previous experience working in an AP/ AR role or all-round accounts experience
12. Experience working with Xero software is essential
13. Intermediate MS Excel skills
14. Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
15. Excellent numerical skills
16. The ability to work well as part of a team
17. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
