Quality Control Manager Ipswich Salary: c£38K About the Role We’re looking for an experienced and driven Quality Control Manager to lead our Quality Control function within a controlled manufacturing environment. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring products meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and safety. You’ll oversee day-to-day Quality Control operations, manage a skilled team, and play a vital role in driving continuous improvement across production. Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage the Quality Control team, ensuring effective day-to-day operations * Oversee in-process and final inspections in line with procedures and standards * Ensure production line readiness, including start-ups, changeovers, and line clearance * Manage non-conforming products and drive timely resolution of quality issues * Monitor QC performance (KPIs), identify trends, and lead continuous improvement activities * Support audits and maintain audit readiness at all times * Manage customer and supplier quality issues through to resolution Applicants will ideally have: * Qualification in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related discipline (HNC/HND, degree, or equivalent experience) * Professional quality certification (e.g. Internal Auditor, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt) desirable * Strong knowledge of quality processes, inspections, and documenta...
