As a Customer Service Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, customer-focused services across multiple channels, helping to provide essential support to tenants and customers. Key Responsibilities of a Customer Service Assistant:
* Provide high-quality, customer-focused service via phone, email, and in person.
* Resolve queries efficiently and professionally, ensuring first-time resolution where possible.
* Support tenants with rent payments and tenancy management issues.
* Oversee the allocation and lettings process, ensuring fairness and transparency.
* Administer Physical Adaptation Grants, working with contractors, Cwm Taf Care & Repair, and Welsh Government.
* Assist with administrative tasks across Housing, Maintenance, and Compliance teams.
* Track maintenance works and ensure timely completion.
* Manage contractor databases and assist with customer satisfaction surveys.
What we'd love to see:
* Experience in frontline customer service or administration.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and record management systems.
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
* Ability to handle sensitive matters with empathy and confidentiality.
* Positive, proactive attitude with a focus on high-quality customer service.
* Willingness to be Fire Warden and First Aid trained.
* Ideally experience in social housing, knowledge of housing management and maintenance, and Welsh language skills.
This Customer Service Assistant role offers a salary of £24,568 ( pro rata )
