Vox Consultants are currently recruiting for a Plumber in Leicestershire. We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Plumber to work in a HMP.
The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week. Staff are required to work on a rota basis between 07:30 and 16:00 Monday to Thursday; 07:30 and 15:00 Friday; 07:30 and 15:30 Saturday to Sunday. There will be a need to work 1 in 3 weekends, on a rota basis, with an additional allowance of 15% of the basic salary.
What you will do:
1. Routine and non-routine maintenance
2. Mains water supply repairs
3. Fault finding, identification of life-expired equipment, checking, repairing, and making good faults
4. Inspections, water sampling, and risk assessment
What you will bring:
1. Full driving licence
2. Experience in a commercial environment
3. Experience in operating light plant
4. NVQ level 3 in Plumbing and Heating (preferred, NVQ level 2 considered)
5. Legionella Control (L8) desirable
6. Prison Security Clearance will be required
