The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for acquiring, contracting, and monitoring all clinical sites for courses and student experiences. They will coordinate with the program administrator to arrange clinical schedules and forecast needs for upcoming semesters. The role includes processing student clinical site requests, providing guidance to students in finding clinical sites and preceptors, and ensuring faculty meet facility requirements and submit necessary paperwork on time. Additionally, the coordinator will organize orientation programs for clinical faculty to meet program outcomes.
Education and Experience Requirements
* Master's degree in Nursing or higher
* Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
* Experience as a Clinical Coordinator
* Must meet program accreditation requirements
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Internet applications, and other clinical technologies
Compensation and Benefits

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
* Maintain knowledge of staffing, compliance policies, and practice standards affecting program outcomes.
* Manage site selection criteria and contract documentation.
* Visit clinical sites at least once per rotation to facilitate communication and feedback.
* Coordinate with the program administrator to establish schedules and facilitate student experiences.
* Assist in student placement and advise on clinical site suitability.
* Ensure compliance with facility policies and timely submission of required documentation.
* Establish and maintain reporting systems for clinical experiences.
* Build community contacts and participate in partner relations.
* Provide orientation, training, and development guidance to faculty and students.
* Serve as the first point of contact for clinical personnel issues, involving the program administrator when necessary.
* Participate in meetings and professional development activities.
