Main Responsibilities:
* Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces in residents' rooms and common areas.
* Ensure a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness throughout the care home.
* Manage laundry services, including washing, folding, and distributing linens and residents' clothing.
* Ensure all laundry activities adhere to infection control guidelines.
* Ensure that daily and deep cleaning schedules are adhered to.
* Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and hygiene.
* Ensure that all cleaning equipment is correctly and safely used and kept in a safe condition.
* Monitor and maintain supplies of cleaning and hygiene products.
* Report any shortages or equipment malfunctions promptly.
* Carry out any other reasonable instructions.
* Attend and be knowledgeable of all statutory training sessions including, Fire, Health and Safety, Moving and Handling and COSHH etc.
