Job Description
The Teller I works in a TD Store location, delivering legendary customer experiences by processing banking transactions accurately and efficiently, while educating customers on TD's products and services or referring them to specialists.
Responsibilities include:
* Executing TD's Brand promise through behaviors that deliver a Legendary Customer experience
* Performing deposits, withdrawals, loan and safe deposit payments
* Handling cash transactions with high accuracy
* Responding to customer inquiries and concerns, escalating as needed
* Managing lobby flow and welcoming customers
* Educating customers on banking preferences and digital options
* Conducting needs-based conversations and referring to partners
* Making decisions and resolving problems promptly
* Ensuring operational compliance and security measures
* Verifying customer identities
* Balancing cash drawers and ATMs
* Maintaining confidentiality and security of customer information
* Completing required training
Education & Experience
* High school diploma or GED
* Preferred: 6 months related experience or equivalent through volunteering, education, or military service
* Availability to work during operating hours including weekends, evenings, holidays
* Customer service skills preferred
* Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
* Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication skills
