About the Role:
We are seeking a Management Accountant to join our Head Office team. You will take ownership of monthly accounts, deliver insightful financial analysis, and provide business partnering support across a variety of departments.
Main Responsibilities:
* Produce monthly management accounts, including reconciliations and departmental reporting
* Carry out variance analysis with commentary on performance by department, region, and project
* Act as Business Partner for Head Office cost centres, including planning and cost reviews
* Ensure balance sheet items and loan balances are reconciled accurately and on time
* Oversee group recharges, loans, and compliance with IFRS9/transfer pricing rules
* Manage VAT returns and coordinate with external tax specialists
* Support consistent accounting treatment for benefits and investments
* Assist with group reporting, relief adjustments, and dividend processes
* Help improve and document finance processes
* Contribute to wider projects as needed
Key Requirements:
* Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
* At least 3 years’ experience in a finance role
* Background in private equity, acquisitive, or professional services businesses is desirable
* Strong communication skills, able to engage with senior stakeholders
* Proven ability to deliver to deadlines and improve processes
* Strong Excel and general MS Office ability
