Complex Needs School Nursing Team
Exciting opportunities are available to join Complex Needs School Nursing. We have multiple Band 3 positions available for Healthcare Support Workers and we are looking for passionate, caring, motivated people to join our highly skilled nursing teams.
The Complex needs School Registered Nursing Team deliver direct nursing care and health advice to approximately 350 children and young adults with complex health needs (physical/neurological disabilities, visual impairment, emotional difficulties and behavioural disorders) who attend 3 Complex Needs Schools within Edinburgh City and Midlothian and specialist nursing support within East Lothian specialist provision schools.
The Health care support service (HESS) band 3 team delivers direct care and support on a 1:1 basis for Children and Young people with complex health care conditions attending Schools Nurseries and Early Years Centres across Lothian. This provision includes nursery, primary and secondary aged pupils.
Working Hours are Monday – Friday during term time and are between 8-4:30pm with shorter days on a Friday.
