Your role:
We have an exciting opportunity to join the HR Employment Service Centre as a HR Support Assistant. Within this role you will provide a first class Payroll and HR transactional service to schools, the council and our external customers.
You will work closely with the HR Systems and Pension Team, council departments and partner organisations.
You will also be required to work across all areas of the HR Employment Services dependent on current project requirements.
The role will require the suitable candidate to be office based for a minimum of 2 days per week.
About you:
As a member of the team, you must be able to communicate effectively with other team members and have the ability to plan and prioritise workload well and enjoy working to strict deadlines.
You will need to be extremely well organised, used to be working to tight deadlines, dealing with high volumes of work and you will work as part of a proactive team. If you can demonstrate these skills we want to hear from you.

The HR Employment Services team in HR & OD provides Payroll, Pension and HR transactional services to employees and managers in the council, schools and academies and to the external organisations we work in partnership with, this includes a full recruit to pay service, a pension administration service and a payroll processing service including all technical aspects of producing a payroll.
