About This Role:

Social and content have never been more important for clients. Showing up authentically, with intention, across social platforms helps brands connect with their audiences and support sales and service.

This role provides the opportunity to work on a really exciting client with a portfolio of soft drinks brands. You will manage key campaigns across the year, collaborating with strategy, creative, and production teams to deliver best-in-class campaigns and content.

This role is ideal for someone with wide social knowledge, experience managing content and campaigns that build brand advocacy, and an understanding of creating assets that drive purchase. The candidate should be able to lead an account, steer processes and ways of working internally, with agency partners and with clients. The ideal candidate will stay current on social trends and understand how data, strategy, and community management feed into a brand’s social presence. They should be comfortable leading beyond social into other areas of the marketing mix and have some integrated experience.

A Bit About You

We are flexible on whether you come from an agency or client background, but the following are important for this role:

* Organised and autonomous; able to motivate the team and anticipate blockers to campaign success
* Will work with an Account Manager to support budgets and timings, and should be proficient in delivering social campaigns on budget and on time
* Financially savvy; able to work with the team to deliver proposals within client budgets and ensure successful delivery
* Excellent communicator; provide clear guidance to internal teams and present work to clients
* A proactive collaborator who engages with client and agency teams to make things happen
* Experience in the retail sector is beneficial

As a Social Account Director you lead large, complex projects with your experience and proven ability to think and act. You solve problems and build productive working relationships with clients and colleagues, collaborating with other Capabilities and Crafts.

You may also have a solid understanding of strategy and ensure the team works toward strategic objectives.

* Maintain trusted relationships with mid-level clients and demonstrate delivery excellence
* Lead conversations and problem solve in the moment; act as an escalation point for junior clients
* Strong skills in paid and organic social across a range of clients and projects
* Lead in a Social-first environment and contribute to an integrated team
* Manage multi-level stakeholders in complex organisations and lead resources and teams with diverse skills
* Understand client business context to develop effective solutions
* Collaborate with other capabilities to deliver the best social creative solutions; champion the craft
* Demonstrate creative problem solving and non-linear thinking in tasks and briefs
* Takes responsibility for larger projects; accountable for work and process
* Accountable for the account team’s actions; guide and intervene as needed
* Manage client expectations regarding additional work to avoid financial risk
* Understand project economics and manage budgets to meet targets
* Maintain strong partnerships with internal stakeholders across crafts and support cross-functional agendas
* Maintain day-to-day client relationships and widen opportunities
* Act as an escalation point to resolve issues and support the team
