What you’ll be doing
The Asset Finance Team is at the forefront of delivering vital cash‑flow solutions to trading businesses across the UK. In this role you will act as a high‑value originator, developing, managing and driving business performance to secure new and existing asset finance solutions for the SME sector (turnover £3m‑£25m). You will work closely with Coverage teams to deliver a range of Asset Finance products and maintain strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
* Develop and originate high‑quality Asset Finance business in line with new‑business targets through multiple sources (Direct, Brokers & Vendors).
* Demonstrate and utilise expert product knowledge to maximise delivery across all channels.
* Maintain strong relationships with key business introducers, customers and prospects to ensure effective delivery.
* Undertake structured prospecting activities across agreed territories.
* Be accountable for structuring financial solutions and negotiating all deals.
* Build and maintain an effective external network to maximise opportunity.
Qualifications
We are looking for an individual with strong business‑to‑business experience in financial services, ideally from a Commercial Finance, Leasing or Asset Finance background.
* Experience in face‑to‑face sales negotiations.
* Solid understanding of Asset Finance and at least five years of experience selling asset finance products.
* Outstanding relationship management and business‑development skills.
* Excellent understanding of financials and cash flow.
* Ability to write detailed credit reports, analyse, draw insights and make financial‑services recommendations.
* Excellent stakeholder‑management skills to maximise business opportunities.
