Alexander Associates are working with a leading environmental contractor, recruiting a Civil Engineer to join their growing team in the Midlands. This role will support the delivery of major clean and wastewater projects across the region as part of long-term AMP7 and AMP8 frameworks.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in high-profile, technically challenging schemes that are delivering essential upgrades to the UK's water and wastewater infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the civil engineering delivery of wastewater treatment works, pumping stations, pipeline upgrades, and related infrastructure
* Manage design coordination, drawings, and specifications in line with programme and client requirements
* Collaborate with site teams, subcontractors and technical specialists to ensure successful execution of works
* Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle
* Contribute to planning, scheduling, and resource coordination on live sites
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven background in the water or wastewater sector (clean or dirty water)
* Site-based delivery experience with a contractor or design consultancy
* Familiarity with water company standards, construction processes, and temporary works
* Strong communication and coordination skills
* Opportunity to work on flagship water and wastewater projects with long-term pipeline
