Working Hours: * Annualised hours system (average 40 hours per week) * Summer Hours (January–July): 35-hour weeks, Tuesday to Friday. * Week 1: 6am – 3pm * Week 2: 3pm – midnight * Winter Hours (August–December): 46.25-hour weeks, Monday to Friday. * Week 1: 5:30am – 3pm * Week 2: 3pm – 12:30am Job Description: We’re seeking a proactive Multi Skilled Engineer to join the friendly and dedicated Engineering team at our food manufacturing facility in Kirkcudbright. In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining, repairing, and improving equipment to ensure smooth and efficient production. Responsibilities include: * Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns. * Ensuring high standards of Health & Safety, Quality & Hygiene are met. * Supporting continuous improvement initiatives. * Using computer-based maintenance systems effectively. Skills & Experience: * Electrical qualification (City & Guilds/HNC or equivalent). * Industrial 3-phase experience within a food or relevant manufacturing environment. * Mechanical experience including pneumatics and fabrication (advantageous). * Competence with computer-based maintenance systems. * Proactive attitude with a hands-on, problem-solving approach.
