An opportunity has arisen at Weymouth Hospital to join the Facilities Team as a Facilities Support Worker, primarily performing Porter duties.
Applicants should be enthusiastic, motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
This position is for 15 hours per week, working 3 days one week and 2 days the next. Each shift runs from 3pm to 9.30pm, with opportunities for additional hours to cover leave.
Full training, induction, and uniform will be provided. The role offers a generous annual leave entitlement and a pension scheme.

This is a multitasking role focusing on Porter duties while supporting cleaning activities. Our facilities team members play a vital role in the hospital's operation.
Portering: Providing portering services, including the safe movement and storage of deliveries and equipment, performing routine health and safety tasks, and supporting the team.
Cleaning: Delivering effective cleaning services to NHS standards, including emptying bins, cleaning toilets, clinics, corridors, and stairwells.
Catering: Assisting with catering services, such as preparing sandwiches and salads and delivering patient food.
Employment requires a Standard DBS check, which the Trust will cover. Applicants subscribing to the DBS update service can present a valid certificate instead of a new check.
