Role: Essential Learning Support Officer \n Location: Manchester \n Type: Temporary (for the full academic year \n Rate: £120-£130 per day \n \n Eden Brown are seeking an Essential Learning Support Officer to join our dedicated team and provide vital support to learners on A level, Advanced BTEC, and GCSE programmes on behalf of a leading sixth form in Manchester. \n \n This is a full time, temporary role from September for 1 academic year, the hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm \n \n Key Responsibilities: \n * Provide general support with study skills to individuals and small groups, including those with Learning Difficulties and Disabilities. \n * Offer learning and personal support both in-class and during independent study periods.
\n * Assist learners with literacy challenges, help keep students motivated and focused, and support with note-taking. \n * Carry out examination invigilation for students who have special exam arrangements. \n \n Who we're looking for: \n * Someone with a degree qualification (essential).
\n * Experience supporting 16-19-year-olds or working in a secondary education environment. \n * Some experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN) support is beneficial, voluntary experience is welcome. \n * A patient, encouraging, and adaptable individual who can make a real difference in students academic journeys.
