Paralegal (Clinical Negligence - Southport)

Location: Southport/Hybrid
We are seeking a Paralegal to join our Clinical Negligence team in Southport. This role offers the opportunity to develop your legal career in a supportive environment, working closely with solicitors and senior staff to manage clinical negligence cases.
Your responsibilities will include legal research, drafting documents, liaising with clients, medical experts, and professionals, and assisting in case management to achieve excellent client outcomes.
This role requires a minimum of one day per week in the office; it is not fully remote.

Main Responsibilities:
* Meet KPI targets
* Progress cases efficiently and proactively
* Liaise with clients, experts, barristers, and insurers
* Handle pre and post-issue procedures under supervision
* Complete actions on Proclaim Action List timely
* Accurately record time
* Maintain client files per quality standards
* Report to Senior Lawyer as needed
* Assist with medical record collection and client document preparation
* Manage a caseload of early-stage clinical negligence cases
Ideal Candidate:
* Interest in clinical negligence law, with some experience preferred
* Graduate with a law-related degree and/or LPC, CILEX, or similar qualification
* Ability to follow guidance and work as part of a team
* Strong legal, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
* Excellent client care and interpersonal skills
* Flexible and results-driven attitude
