Face-to-Face (F2F) Fundraising Area Manager
As a Face-to-Face (F2F) Fundraising Area Manager, you'll lead and inspire a team of membership fundraisers primarily in the West Midlands, covering Shropshire and Worcestershire. Your leadership will be crucial in meeting ambitious fundraising targets while maintaining high standards in ethical fundraising.
You will line manage up to 8 fundraisers, collaborate with reserves in your area, and lead on National Shows at the NEC to maximize membership opportunities for the charity. Due to travel requirements, applicants must have a valid driver's license or demonstrate alternative means of reaching all parts of the area.
This hands-on role involves supporting, coaching, motivating your team, and fundraising alongside them to lead by example.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Coaching: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of fundraisers.
2. Performance Management: Monitor KPIs such as membership volume, donation amounts, Gift Aid uptake, and attrition rates.
3. Operational Oversight: Manage daily logistics of your team.
4. Relationship Building: Build effective partnerships with key stakeholders outside the F2F team.
5. Travel & Flexibility: Regular travel across the West Midlands and wider Midlands area, occasionally nationally.
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven experience in face-to-face fundraising and managing high-performing teams.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of ethical fundraising practices and relevant codes.
* Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize effectively.
* Comfortable with giving and receiving feedback.
* Experience with leadership frameworks such as SMART objectives, root cause analysis, and situational leadership.
