Randstad Construction & Property is representing a National Facilities Management company in their search for an experienced and cooperative Air Conditioning Engineer to join their team in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The chosen candidate will undertake planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and respond to maintenance issues across various sites.

Salary: £42,000

Completing small installations and repairs to the highest standards.
Executing PPM and responding to reactive maintenance tasks assigned via the helpdesk within specified timeframes to meet customer expectations.
Ensuring equipment operates according to performance standards.
Assessing performance and ensuring contracted equipment receives proper servicing and maintenance.
Proactively communicating with clients and addressing concerns promptly or escalating them to management when necessary.
Maintaining awareness of contractual obligations and customer requirements.
Timely completion of administrative tasks and accurate maintenance of documents/records.
Participating in client callouts as per the callout schedule.An ideal candidate will possess:
A valid UK driving licence
Completion of a formal apprenticeship and trade qualifications in an electrical discipline
NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent certification
FGAS certification
City & Guilds 2079 qualification in the safe handling of refrigerantsAn ideal candidate will be:
