Job Title: Kitchen Porter

Pay: £12.35 per hour (for applicants aged 21 and over)

The Cliff Hotel & Spa is looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our busy and supportive kitchen team.
This is an important role within the kitchen, helping to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and organisation to ensure smooth daily operations.
Main Responsibilities
* Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen areas
* Ensure all dishes, cutlery, equipment and work surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised
* Operate dishwashing equipment safely and effectively, including manual washing where required
* Clean and sanitise kitchen surfaces, walls and floors in line with food safety standards
* Follow a structured cleaning schedule for kitchen equipment including ovens, grills, refrigerators and dishwashers
* Complete and sign cleaning checklists as required
* Sweep and mop floors after service and ensure waste and recycling is disposed of correctly
* Store food items safely and maintain clean, organised storage areas
* Assist chefs with basic food preparation duties when required and as trained
