We are looking to strengthen our Construction team with a Senior Commissioning Manager, Site & Office based within the Severn Trent Region
You will report directly to the Operations Director for the Region. You will deliver commissioning planning and commissioning activities for all projects in appointed region through the existing team of experienced commissioning staff. You will also provide ownership of the commissioning process through all stages of a project lifecycle and achieve efficiencies associated with handover to the client.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Resource management within the appointed region
2. Effective engagement with Operations management teams to ensure safe and timely commissioning involvement.
3. Direct management of the hub leaders who provide day to day management and coordination of site based commissioning teams.
4. Management of providing early input to commissioning plans and proposals work.
5. Management of the Process Safety procedures to ensure safe progression into and through commissioning on site.
6. Develop and operate an optimised interface with the MWHT engineering team to ensure “design for commissioning”.
7. Facilitate feedback of improvement information from commissioning.
8. Drive efficiencies and operate tight change control procedures.
9. Monitor, measure and report on performance and drive continuous improvement
10. Develop and improve commissioning processes and systems.
