Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Garden Machinery Engineer, located in Chichester. The Garden Machinery Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a variety of garden and vineyard machinery. Key tasks include diagnosing technical issues, performing regular maintenance of equipment, executing repairs to ensure optimal performance, and providing exceptional customer service. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of repairs and supporting customers with equipment usage guidance.
Qualifications
* Experience with maintaining and repairing garden machinery, agricultural equipment, or vineyard machinery including diagnostics and troubleshooting.
* Strong mechanical and technical skills, including the ability to perform routine maintenance and complex repairs.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in resolving machinery issues effectively.
* Basic understanding of vineyard equipment and operations is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Good communication skills to assist clients with equipment guidance and troubleshooting.
* Ability to work effectively on-site in Chichester and meet deadlines promptly.
* A valid driver's license and ability to travel locally, when required, is preferred.
