Due to continued work wins, our Energy & Resources Advisory Service team are keen to recruit a Senior Principal PMO Consultant to lead our Northern/Scotland portfolio based from either of our vibrant city centre offices in Edinburgh or Glasgow. About the role: This senior advisory role will focus on supporting high profile clients delivering major capital investment programmes, and will be supported by specialists in areas such as risk, project controls, cost management, data analytics and more and will directly impact the Energy Transition movement within the UK. You will play a key role in embedding effective performance management and continuous improvement across programmes. Through data-driven insight, you will identify trends, risks and inefficiencies, implementing practical process improvements that enhance delivery outcomes and programme resilience. Providing end-to-end leadership ensuring alignment with client objectives. Your impact: As part of the advisory team, you will be helping to shape and optimise programme management approaches, strengthen commercial performance, and enable confident decision-making across complex large-scale capital programmes contributing to the energy transition movement in the UK. From early planning and programme design through to execution and completion. You will been as see as a trusted advisor and will work closely with clients, partners and internal teams to ensure programmes are well-governed, financially robust and positioned for long-term success. About you You’ll be degree qualified and ideally bring experience from the capital programmes in the energy, water, nuclear or resources sectors - or have an equivalent combination of education and professional expertise. Your capital programme and project management experience will be underpinned by strong commercial and financial acumen. You’re confident operating at a senior advisory level, overseeing complex, high value programmes that deliver clear, measurable value for clients. You’re recognised as a trusted advisor with clients, someone who can identify growth opportunities and lead high performing teams.
