About the School
This is a friendly and welcoming specialist SEN school supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), SEMH, and learning difficulties. The school focuses on helping students build confidence, independence, and essential skills in a structured and nurturing environment.

About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in their daily learning and development. This is a hands-on role where you will provide practical and emotional support, helping students engage in lessons, activities, and the wider school environment.
You’ll work closely with teachers and support staff to create a positive, inclusive, and structured learning space.
Key Responsibilities
* Support pupils on a one-to-one or small-group basis in line with individual learning plans
* Assist teachers in delivering structured, engaging, and differentiated lessons
* Encourage communication, independence, and positive learning behaviours
* Support pupils with emotional regulation, daily routines, and engagement
* Provide personal care support where required (training provided)
* Prepare resources and maintain an organised classroom
* Record observations and provide feedback on pupil progress
* Support pupils during transitions, breaktimes, and school activities
* Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff
