Beach Baker is pleased to be partnering with a leading commercial property consultancy to recruit a Rating Surveyor into their highly regarded Bristol-based Business Rates team.

What you'll be doing
1. Advising clients on business rates mitigation strategies
2. Inspecting and valuing a range of commercial properties
3. Managing Check, Challenge, Appeal cases
4. Negotiating with the VOA and local authorities
5. Building client relationships and supporting new business opportunities
What we're looking for
6. MRICS qualified (or working towards)
7. Experience within business rates / rating (private practice or VOA)
8. Strong understanding of rating legislation and appeal processes
9. Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
10. Motivated, commercially aware, and keen to develop
