Job Title: Transport Manager
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
Hours: Monday to Friday

A well-established Plant Hire company who puts its employees as their number one asset is seeking a Transport Planner. As the Transport Manager you will be required to coordinate the company’s fleet of vehicles and drivers across 3 depots

About your new Transport Manager role:
Oversee the planning and coordination of all transport operations, ensuring timely delivery and collection of plant and tool hire equipment across all 3 depots.
Route plan for multiple vehicles and ensure Drivers have correct paperwork to complete their duties.
Supervise and manage the drivers’ workloads in compliance to all aspects of UK law
Investigate root causes of service failuresWhat you’ll need to succeed:
Previous experience as a Transport Planner or Transport Manager
Experience with Plant Machinery is desirable
Good problem solving and people management skills
A valid CPC would be beneficialNext steps:
