Salary: £50,544 - 55,464 per year Requirements: Advanced data modelling and SQL development experience Ability to gather and interpret complex reporting requirements and multiple business processes Extensive experience with SSMS or Azure Databricks Strong knowledge of dimensional data modelling and Kimball methodology techniques Experience building data structures for consumption and presentation via Power BI Ability to work in an agile manner and deliver against project priorities Experience working with project delivery tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps Confidence representing team needs in project environments and leading scoping, planning, design, and delivery of data products Experience working with ERP systems, ideally D365 and Workday Experience of data lineage testing and checking work during development Responsibilities: Represent our BI team in project meetings, promote our enterprise reporting strategy, and ensure we have the right requirements and data for successful reporting Turn customer needs into well-designed reporting products that help users understand their data and drive action Understand project scope and impact, and ensure reporting and delivery plans are achievable Work with our data teams to consolidate data and deliver a robust reporting layer that meets current and future reporting and analytical needs Ensure high-quality, structured data flows from source systems to our reporting presentation layer so we can deliver accurate and timely insight Consider data quality and security throughout systems change, from design and implementation through to the insight we deliver Collaborate with project teams to understand dependencies and deliver Power BI reporting products through Databricks and semantic or gold layer models Support the maintenance of our BI products used across the organisation Technologies: Azure Business Intelligence Databricks DevOps ERP Support JIRA Power BI SQL Security Cloud Data Warehouse ETL Flow More: We are the RNLI, a lifesaving charity with a simple purpose: to save lives at sea, 24 hours a day, every day.
