Purpose of the role
We’re looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic and innovative software startup. In this
role, you’ll work on both the front end and back end of our web applications as part of a small, fast-moving
team.
If you have strong programming skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for creating and improving
modern web applications, we’d love to meet you. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, developers, and
product leads to ensure smooth functionality, system reliability, and an excellent user experience.
Ultimately, you’ll help develop, optimise, and maintain robust, scalable applications that support our
company’s growth and vision.
Requirements and Skills
* Commercial experience as a Full Stack Developer, working with both front end and back end
* technologies
* Strong proficiency in PHP with hands-on experience using object-oriented programming and modern
* frameworks
* Solid understanding of the full web development lifecycle including design, development, testing,
* deployment, and maintenance
* Ability to write, optimise, and execute SQL queries to extract data from large datasets
* Good knowledge of front end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (including jQuery),
* along with an understanding of W3C standards and accessibility guidelines
* Proven experience in developing, maintaining, and releasing web applications in production
* environments
* Familiarity with LAMP environments, including maintaining configuration files, writing bash scripts,
* and applying security patches
* Awareness of emerging technologies and common web security vulnerabilities, with an interest in
* best practices for secure development
* Strong analytical and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.

* Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience
