Job Title: SEND Learning Support Assistant Location: Sunderland Contract Type: Long Term Temporary Leader Education are recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to join an exceptional SEND secondary school catering to students aged 11–19. The academy supports around 204 pupils with a diverse range of complex needs, including severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), autism, and complex medical conditions. Students benefit from a vibrant and highly supportive learning environment, complemented by outstanding specialist facilities such as a therapy pool and a fully equipped sensory room. These resources play a vital role in enabling pupils to engage with their education, build confidence, and reach their full potential. This is a long-term position, subject to a successful trial, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm.
