About the job you're considering

We are working with one of the largest UK government departments who has a drive for transformation, focusing on delivery of value and utilising new technology including AI.

We are looking for a Managing Consultant who can join us to drive new transformation strategies, expand our business offerings, exploit AI technologies and increase our partnership value.

We are seeking someone who is a dynamic, strategic-minded professional, and will bring a blend of consultancy expertise, business development acumen, and a passion for driving innovation and cultural change.

Whether your background is in Product Management or Business Analysis, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our business offering, mentoring talent, and unlocking new client value.

Your role

• Consultancy Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams, bringing clarity to complex challenges and delivering strategic solutions that drive measurable impact.
• Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities, build client relationships, and contribute to the growth of our portfolios through proactive engagement and commercial insight.
• Stakeholder & Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, navigating complex environments to deliver value and influence outcomes.
• Opportunity Creation: Leverage your network and market awareness to open new doors, initiate conversations, and position Capgemini as a partner of choice.
• Growth & Sales Mindset: Champion a growth-oriented culture, contributing to sales targets and supporting bid activity with strategic input and client insight.
• Internal Cultural Change: Drive transformation within the practice by mentoring colleagues, shaping delivery models, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Your skills and experience

• Proven experience in consultancy, product management, or business analysis within a complex delivery environment.
• Demonstrable success in business development, stakeholder engagement, and client relationship management.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to navigate organisational structures to influence and deliver.
• Experience mentoring and developing talent, with a passion for capability building.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and build teams to deliver.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to operate confidently across all levels of an organisation.

Your security clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to be eligible for Security Check (SC) clearance.
To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
Some posts are restricted to sole UK Nationals for security reasons; therefore, you may be asked about your citizenship in the application process.
