We have opportunities for caring, compassionate, and enthusiastic people to join our Day Opportunity teams as Support Workers providing support and care within our Disability and Mental Health Services.
About Day Services (DMH)
Kendal Day Services have a diverse range of Day Opportunities for adults with a learning disability including autism. The support offered is highly personalised to meet the needs of the individual and promotes social inclusion and maintains independence. We provided exciting and inclusive day opportunities tailored care programmes and activities which including drama, art, low level fell walking, therapeutic horticulture and a wide range of centre and community-based activities to enable personal growth and promote health and well-being.
About the role
As a Day service Support Worker, you will get to know people individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care. You will also assist with medication, providing personal care, and encouraging people to achieve their full potential. We are looking for support workers who are flexible, enthusiastic, willing to undertake specialised activities and training whilst also sharing your own personal skills, interests and ideas.
We are looking for the right people who share our vision and passion for Care to join our teams across Care Services, we’d like to hear more about your motivations, interests and values, including what attracted you to a role in Care.
Experience or qualifications are not necessarily needed to get started.
