Associate Structural Engineer - Building Safety
Location: Sidcup, Kent
Salary: £60k-£70k
Responsibilities
* Lead and assist in the development of the team delivering structural engineering inspections and reports for building safety cases.
* Work with the Director to expand the client portfolio while managing growth and overseeing the technical delivery of the existing team.
* Visit sites, make observations, and provide written advice on building structures.
* Maintain expertise in robustness and progressive collapse, and assess and remediate large panel systems as required.
Qualifications
* Ambitious Chartered Structural Engineer with an interest in building safety.
* Experienced in a wide range of building structure design.
* Good understanding of robustness and progressive collapse.
* Preferable experience of assessments and remedial works of large panel systems.
