Role: IT Manager (E-Commerce & Systems)Location: Halesowen (Hybrid – 3 Days On-Site Weekly)Salary: £45,000 - £50,000A well-established UK distribution business is seeking a technically strong and hands-on IT Manager to oversee its technology environment across two West Midlands sites. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a practical, operational IT position with a heavy emphasis on E-Commerce platforms and business-critical applications.You’ll be responsible for maintaining stable systems, improving application performance, and ensuring that both ERP and E-Commerce platforms continue to support daily operations effectively. * Lead day-to-day IT operations across two sites and their remote sales operations.
* Oversee support and enhancement of ERP and E-Commerce applications.
* Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve system and application issues.
* Manage user administration, access control, and application configuration.
* Coordinate upgrades, integrations, and system improvement initiatives.
* Work with external partners, suppliers, and vendors on fixes and enhancements.
* Support reporting, dashboards, and data-driven decision-making.
* Streamline processes and contribute to continuous improvement across IT systems.
Essential Experience
* Strong background in system/application support, ideally across ERP and E-Commerce.
* Technical understanding of integrations, data flows, and platform configuration.
* Experience coordinating IT activity across multiple stakeholders or sites.
* Straightforward communication style with an honest, pragmatic approach.
* Experience supporting technology within distribution, retail, or operational environments.
Desirable
* Knowledge of APIs, web technologies, or system integrations.
* Experience with automation, reporting tools, or workflow improvements.
* Familiarity with fast-paced commercial or product-led environments.
