About the Role You will be working full-time (Monday-Friday, 9am-4:30pm) as a Learning Support Assistant, supporting students aged 16+ with a range of additional learning needs. Support may take place in classrooms, workshops, vocational environments or specialist learning spaces. Your role will include: •Supporting students to access lessons and learning activities •Working 1:1 or with small groups •Encouraging independence, confidence and engagement •Supporting communication, behaviour and emotional regulation •Assisting with daily routines and personal development •Working closely with lecturers, SEN staff and support teams This is a hands-on, rewarding role that offers excellent insight into post-16 education and SEN support. About the Setting The setting supports young people in a further education environment, offering both academic and vocational pathways. There is a strong focus on: •Preparing students for adulthood, employment and independence •Inclusive, supportive learning •Small group learning and personalised support •Building life skills alongside education You’ll be part of a supportive team where training, guidance and collaboration are central.
