Randstad C&P are working with a Global FM client to onboard a Mobile Mechanical Engineer in Leeds. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity covering commercial properties across Leeds and surrounding areas. The main working hours will be Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Perform both planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of mechanical and electrical building services, this includes general maintenance and inspections, as well as addressing immediate faults and defects.
Performing routine preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical plant.
Responding to and completing reactive maintenance tasks.
Carrying out legionella control and monitoring activities.
Using CAFM systems to manage and close out work tickets.
Working with subcontractors, ensuring their work is monitored and carried out to a high standard.
Preparing and using method statements and risk assessments for all tasks.
Participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota.
The Requirements
The ideal candidate will have around five years of experience as a mechanical engineer in a facilities management environment.
Must hold a City and Guilds - Mechanical Engineering Services NVQ Level 2 or higher.
Must hold a full, clean UK driving licence.
Excellent communication, IT, and report-writing skills are essential for this role, as you'll be dealing with various staff, clients, and subcontractors.
