A welcoming and faith-centred Catholic primary school in Brent is seeking an experienced Key Stage 1 Teacher to join the team as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed teacher who is passionate about high-quality teaching and Religious Education, and who would be willing to join the school’s RE Lead Team.

About the Role
As a KS1 Teacher and member of the RE Lead Team, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons across the KS1 curriculum
*
Deliver high-quality Religious Education in line with Catholic teachings and diocesan guidance
*
Support the development and monitoring of RE across the school as part of the RE Lead Team
*
Contribute to the Catholic life and mission of the school
*
Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress to ensure all children reach their potential
*
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
*
Work collaboratively with colleagues, senior leaders, and the parish community
*
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers
*
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including liturgies, collective worship, and school events
What We’re Looking For
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
*
Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1
*
Experience leading or supporting Religious Education in a Catholic school – highly desirable
*
Understanding that RE in a Catholic school differs significantly from non-Catholic settings
*
Willingness to undertake (or already hold) the Catholic Certificate in Religious Studies (CCRS)
*
Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessment frameworks
*
High expectations for pupil progress and behaviour
*
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
*
A reflective practitioner committed to ongoing professional development
*
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
