Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced registered nurse to temporarily join our team as a community staff nurse within the District Nursing Service in the Dunfermline locality. The role will run for 43 weeks, covering for maternity leave.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide a 24‑hour, 7‑day community nursing service.
* Work weekends and public holidays as required.
* Assist other areas of NHS Fife if the service warrants it.
* Travel within the locality to meet service needs.
Qualifications and Experience
* Registered nurse with significant clinical experience.
* Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
* Evidence of continuous professional development and clinical expertise.
* Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment.
* Membership in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme before appointment.
* Valid right to work in the United Kingdom.
