Position: Administrative Assistant
Contract Length: 2-3 months
Location: York
Rate: £18 per hour PAYE
Role Description
A vacancy has arisen for an Administrative Assistant to join a main contractor specialising in Rail, Construction, and Civil Engineering.
The working hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm (21 hours per week).
Responsibilities
1. Providing technical and clerical support by preparing reports on business performance, programmes of work, and improvement initiatives.
2. Locating and collating data, records, and other information as required.
3. Assisting with meetings, tracking minutes and actions.
4. Checking fire and safety equipment.
5. Scanning and filing site delivery and collection documents.
6. Emailing briefing documents to relevant parties.
7. Performing general filing, scanning, and administrative duties.
Requirements
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Start date: 19th May 2025 (preferably). Free onsite parking is available.
