We are recruiting for a Senior Architect on behalf of a dynamic and innovative, medium-sized architecture studio based in the vibrant city of Liverpool. Founded over 30 years ago, this firm has built a strong reputation for delivering exceptional architectural designs across a wide range of sectors including Residential, Commercial, and Healthcare. They pride themselves on a collaborative approach, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering sustainable and aesthetically pleasing solutions to their clients. Now, due to our expanding portfolio of projects, they are seeking a talented Senior Architect to join their team.
Responsibilities of the Senior Architect will include:
1. Work closely with clients to understand their goals, requirements, and budget constraints
2. Develop architectural designs that meet the brief and regulatory guidelines
3. Create detailed drawings, plans, and 3D visualisations
4. Prepare and present design proposals for internal and external stakeholders
5. Collaborate with other team members including engineers and contractors
6. Oversee the construction phase to ensure the project meets the design intent
7. Stay updated with industry trends, guidelines, and technological advancements
8. Proactively contribute to the development of the company's design standards and best practices
Requirements:
9. Proven experience as an Architect with 5+ years professional experience.
10. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
11. Exceptional design and visualisation skills
12. Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, planning policies, and construction processes
13. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
14. Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
15. Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics
16. Flexibility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
