The desired teacher will be working in various KS1 and 2 classes, all with a wide range of ability levels. The successful applicant will be expected to plan and deliver exciting and engaging lessons to the classes, but mainly the work is planned for you. This role is a maternity cover and would be 3 days a week for the academic year, beginning in September 2025.
About the school
This post will be based within a small to medium-sized primary school in Ramsey and you will work in 6 different classes. This is a good-rated school where pupils’ achievement and enjoyment of learning are outstanding. In lessons, pupils concentrate exceptionally well, listen carefully to the teacher and to one another, and are confident and motivated learners. It is a very well-regarded school.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of PPA Primary Teacher - part-time, you will:
* Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have experience teaching primary education at Key Stage 1 and 2 levels
* Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Primary Teachers
* Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
