The Roadside Rescue Mechanic goes the extra mile for our members. Anything can happen whilst driving, but we are the AA and we get everyone back on the road safely so the show can go on. In return, we’ll go the extra mile for you, with training, support and opportunities for development.
Base Salary: £39,208 including location allowance. The base salary is achieved on a working week of 40 hours. Top performers can earn upwards of OTE £60,000.
Responsibilities
* You’ll be a communicator: you are our master of diagnostics and essential for delighting customers. You’ll share knowledge in a way customers understand and feel confident their needs will be met.
* You’ll be a self-starter: comfortable working independently, as well as collaborating with a team, travelling to different locations in all weathers.
* You’ll be a fixer/problem solver: you’ll use your technical expertise to solve a range of issues, from roadside fixes to recovering a vehicle to a garage so the customer can get back on the road.
Qualifications
* NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with appropriate experience
* Full category B driving licence, with 6 points or fewer
* Willingness to work shifts, which could include evenings, weekends and bank holidays
