Business Service Manager - Technology CSC - Counter Terrorism Policing HQ
Salary: Starting at £53,459, including allowances of £2,928. Breakdown: £50,531 basic, increasing annually to £55,103, plus a location allowance of £1,928 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.
Location: Birmingham
Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP) depends on high-performing individuals. As a Business Service Manager, you'll manage service agreements and underpinning contracts to ensure high-quality services supporting CTP's mission to keep the country safe. Join our team to protect the UK.
You will be part of the Customer Service Centre (CSC), providing national IT services for CTP, working with internal teams and third-party vendors to deliver and improve service level agreements.
Your responsibilities include monitoring and managing services, producing management reports, tracking service levels, conducting service reviews, and liaising with stakeholders to identify improvements.
Required experience includes ITIL service management processes, such as Service Level Management, Supplier Management, Service Reporting, Change Management, and Problem Management. Technical knowledge should cover IT hardware, Cisco and Microsoft technologies, data centre management, and monitoring tools. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.
