Senior Test Analyst (ETL, Data Warehousing & Tableau) - Remote - 1 day a week SW London - To £46K maximum

Position Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Test Analyst with strong experience in ETL processes, Data Warehousing, and Tableau testing. The role involves validating data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy across warehouse environments, and testing business intelligence dashboards to guarantee reliable insights for stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and execute test plans for ETL workflows, data warehouses, and Tableau dashboards.
* Validate data transformations to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple sources.
* Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on ETL jobs and reporting systems.
* Test Tableau dashboards for data integrity, usability, and visualization accuracy.
* Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business analysts to identify requirements and resolve defects.
* Document test cases, results, and defects in alignment with QA standards.
* Support automation of testing processes where applicable.
* Ensure compliance with data governance and quality standards.
️ Required Skills & Qualifications
* Hands-on experience in ETL testing (Google Cloud, BigQuery and Databricks).
* Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts (schemas, fact/dimension tables, OLAP, normalization).
* Experience testing Tableau dashboards including calculated fields, filters, and parameters.
* Proficiency in SQL for data validation, test queries, and troubleshooting.
* Understanding of QA methodologies and defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Preferred Experience
* Exposure to cloud-based data warehouses (Google BigQuery).
* Experience with test automation frameworks for ETL and BI testing.
* Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
* Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
