Job Title: RNLD - Clinical Nurse Advisor - Adult Residential Services
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum + £3,600 car allowance + mileage
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (9–5, flexible start/finish)
Location: Remote with travel 1-2 times a week in South Wales

Overview:
Compass Associates is proud to partner with a values led national provider of adult social care, known for its commitment to transparency, autonomy, and staff development. We are seeking an experienced RNLD to join their Adult Clinical Team, supporting service managers across residential and supported living services in South Wales.
This is a non-frontline, hybrid role, with up to 2 days travel per week and the rest home based, ideal for nurses passionate about improving standards through training, mentoring, and clinical leadership. You’ll work within a skilled multidisciplinary team, including Positive Behaviour Support specialist, reporting to a Clinical Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert RNLD input across adult LD and ABI services
* Audit and co-produce person centred care and support plans
* Deliver training on LD, autism, trauma-informed and person centred approaches
* Contribute to MDTs, safeguarding processes, and high-risk case panels
* Support teams in clinical documentation, care planning, and quality assurance
* Mentor and advise staff, contributing to internal training and service development
* Maintain accurate records and uphold professional and regulatory standards
Candidate Requirements:
* RNLD (Registered Learning Disability Nurse) with current NMC registration
* Able to drive & have access to own vehicle
* 3+ years’ nursing experience in learning disability settings (residential, supported living, or community)
* Based in South Wales, Bristol, or Gloucestershire (travel required 1–2 days/week to South Wales)
* Confident in care planning, risk assessments, and multi-agency working
* Passion for training, staff mentoring, and service improvement
* Experience with annual health checks, substance misuse, or prescribing (desirable)
