3. Running competitive tenders and negotiating with suppliers.
4. Supporting the development of category strategies.
5. Advising departments on procurement best practice and compliance.
6. Driving savings and efficiency improvements.
7. Maintaining accurate records and ensuring audit compliance.
8. Promoting sustainability and social value through procurement activities.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Procurement professional should have:
9. Experience in procurement or supply chain within a complex organisation.
10. Knowledge of public sector procurement regulations.
11. Strong organisational, analytical, and negotiation skills.
12. Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
13. MCIPS qualification (or working towards) is highly desirable.
