*Deputy Manager and Nursery Practitioner Roles Available**Deputy Manager *(Full time 4/4.5/5 full days per week) From £27,000 PAPriory Day Nursery are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deputy Manager to support the manager in overseeing our childcare facility.The ideal candidates will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for early childhood education. As the Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children, while also managing staff and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.* To work under the direction of the manager and deputise for him/her as and when required* To ensure all children are safeguarded and their welfare and safety is promoted* To support the aims and objectives of the nursery and assist the manager in the organisation of a high-quality establishment for children from birth to five years* To provide high standards of care and early learning- to include the monitoring and review of provision, this includes providing a safe, caring environment to enable the personal, emotional, social and educational development of children, through individual attention and group activities* To support the team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, learn and develop* To direct and support staff as agreed by the manager* To have key holder responsibilityFull job descriptions given upon interviewExperience* Proven experience in a childcare setting, preferably in a managerial/leadership role.* Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.* Demonstrated ability to manage staff effectively while promoting teamwork and professional development.* A background in working with children is essential; qualifications in early childhood education are highly desirable.* A valid driving licence is advantageous for attending off-site meetings or events.*Nursery Practitioner: *(Full time 4/4.5/5 full days per week) From 25,000 PAWe seek a qualified Level 2 or 3 nursery practitioner with good experience working in early years, who can contribute to the high quality caring environment we provide.*You will:** Have good understanding of the EYFS framework along with the development matters guidance to be able to carry out observations, assessment and planning of a high standard to ensure the children in our care are having their individual needs met.* Provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for all children in the nursery* Ensure all children are safeguarded and their welfare and safety is promoted.* Operate a key persons system and liaise with parents, carers and senior staff* Plan, organise and implement a programme of activities to meet the age range you are working with and each individual child's needs and interests.* Work well as part of a highly motivated and professional team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, learn and develop*You must:** Hold a full and relevant level 2 or level 3 qualification in childcare* Be flexible and creative and have the commitment to provide first class childcare* Have the ability to promote good practice in a professional manner* Have good time keeping and organisational skills* Hold a safeguarding certificate (Not essential as training can be provided)* Hold a 12 hour Ofsted recognised Paediatric first aid certificate (Not essential as training can be provided)* Immediate start for the right candidateJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: From £27,000.00 per yearBenefits:* Additional leaveWork Location: In person
