£80 - £90 Per day
* Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering individualised education plans for students with special educational needs (SEN)
* Assisting students with their learning activities and providing additional support where needed
* Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
* Collaborating with the SENCO and other staff members to implement strategies for supporting students with SEN
* Monitoring and recording student progress and behaviour
* Assisting with personal care tasks for students with physical disabilities, if required
* Level 2 or above qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent
* Experience working with children with SEN in an educational setting
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
* Experience working with children with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and dyslexia
* Knowledge of different teaching strategies and resources to support students with SEN
* Ability to adapt and differentiate teaching methods to meet individual student needs
* Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent
* Training in manual handling and personal care tasks
* First Aid certification
* Working hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
* Temporary position with the possibility of extension
* Working in a classroom environment with students with SEN
* Potential exposure to challenging behaviours and personal care tasks
* Regular collaboration with teachers, SENCO, and other staff members

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
