Bank Clinical Nurse Specialist – Gynaecology
Join HCA Healthcare UK as a Bank Clinical Nurse Specialist (Gynaecology) on a bank contract at The Harborne Hospital, Birmingham.
Responsibilities
* Provide expert clinical, educational, and psychological support to patients and families.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary team (oncologists, breast surgeons, radiologists, consultant pathologists).
* Attend MDT meetings, share recommendations, ensure continuity of care linking with community professionals.
* Offer support before, during, and after surgery; cover clinics Monday to Friday.
Qualifications
* NMC registration.
* Extensive post‑registration experience in Gynaecology.
* Mentoring / teaching experience.
* Experience managing complex and difficult emotional situations in clinical context.
* Knowledge of current clinical advances and pathways of care relevant to Gynaecology.
* Evidence of continuous professional development (short courses, study days).
* Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Completed relevant postgraduate course (Level 6 or 7).
