Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Sales Engineer to support our growth in the marine industry. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for marine technologies, environmental solutions, or maritime infrastructure, looking to build a career in technical sales and client engagement.

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales by combining technical knowledge with strong customer relationship skills. This role involves identifying client needs, presenting tailored product solutions, and supporting the sales process from inquiry to close, while collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery


Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Client Engagement
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the marine and maritime sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including contractors, consultants, government entities.
- Conduct market research to track industry trends, customer needs, and potential partnerships.
2. Sales Process & Project Coordination
- Manage the full sales cycle, from enquiry to deal closure, including preparation of quotes and proposals.
- Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, logistics, operations) to ensure successful project execution.
- Maintain up-to-date records in the CRM system and generate regular sales and pipeline reports.
3. Promotion & Representation
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and site visits to showcase products and services.
- Communicate client feedback internally to support continuous improvement.
- Act as a technical resource to address client queries and provide solutions.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Degree or diploma in Business, Engineering, Marine Science, or a related field.
- 1–3 years in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles.
- Experience in the marine or engineering sectors is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of technical products and the ability to communicate features and benefits effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office, familiarity with CRM systems is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
